Features: Alloy G-35 is an upgrade version of Alloy G-30. It has extraordinary resistance in the wet process phosphoric acid production environment, which is widely used in fertilizer production. Its performance in this environment is far superior to Alloy G-35 and stainless steels. It can also resist localized corrosion and chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking in chlorides containing media. Because of its high chromium content, Alloy G-35 is extremely resistant to other oxidizing acids, such as nitric acid and mixtures containing nitric acid. As a result of its appreciable molybdenum content, it possesses moderate resistance to reducing acids, and unlike other nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloys, it is very resistant to caustic dealloying in hot sodium hydroxide.
4.Applications: Wet process phosphoric acid production evaporators, pickling equipment using nitric acid and hydrofluoric acid, caustic neutralizing systems, and chemical process industry systems involving nitric.
